Utility Board

The Utility Board is an administrative body responsible for the management and control of the electric, water, wastewater and telephone utilities of the City of Brookings.

The board consists of five members who each a serve five-year term. Residency and land ownership is required. Members are appointed to the board in May. For more information on requirements and responsibilities, view the City Code.

Utility Board Meetings

The Utility Board meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.

1:00 pm in-person meeting on the 2nd Monday of each month
11:45 am teleconference meeting on the 4th Monday of each month
