BROOKINGS SOLAR PROJECT GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY

This project is located northeast of Brookings and comprised of 11,752 solar panels, covering 32 acres. This facility is sized at 5 MW and will produce enough energy annually to power 1,100 homes. The solar facility is owned by MRES and will connect to BMU’s 34th Ave substation. BMU has been an MRES partner for 50 years, and we look forward to building a brighter, more sustainable future for generations in Brookings.
